Anybody is welcome to attend Tailgate Alaska. Our goal is to get as many passionate snowboarders to ride together in Alaska. Thompson Pass has the best snow conditions and terrain in the world and our goal is to share that with YOU!

You are more than welcome to make your own arrangements to get yourself up to and stay in Valdez and ride with the Tailgate Alaksa crew.

We have also put together some packages to make attending the event as easy a possible for you.

Availability is Limited
This session will feature HELI ACCESS with a dedicated ship. Riders will shuttle up to legendary Valdez peaks, a quick ride from the heli pad to the powder.

Five days of riding 6-8 runs a day. Expect each run to change your perception of snowboarding. Premium Valdez accommodations, shared transportation to and from the pass and other recreational activities and three meals are provided. Lodging is 2 per room.

A $2475 deposit is required to guarantee a spot.

We are extending the snowcave pacage to the first session as well.

Limited Availability
Access will be driven by sleds, skins and snowcats. This is the most cost effective way to ride Valdez.

This is the bare bones package – just lodging, transportation around Valdez and two meals a day. Bring a splitboard, and some gas money for the sleds and you will get there. We will also run some snowmobile shuttles to more low angle areas to build kickers and experiment with natural terrain.

Premium Valdez accommodations, shared transportation to and from the pass and other recreational activities and three meals are provided. Lodging is 2 per room.

Heli access will also be available at additional cost.

A $975 deposit is required to hold a spot.
